This recipe can be prepared with basic ingredients and these types of chapatis can be made easily in less than half an hour. Therefore, there is no such advanced preparation or struggle with its ingredients. Nutritional Benefits: The high fibre content in jowar or sorghum helps in weight loss and being the best source of complex carbohydrates, it is beneficial for diabetics. Whole grains like jowar contain all the three parts- bran, endosperm and germ and due to which it is rich in fibre, protein and some minerals.

Ingredients

  • •15 grams jowar flour
  • •15 grams whole wheat flour
  • •Water as required

Method

    Combine jowar flour, whole wheat flour and knead a soft dough using little water.

    Cover and keep this aside for ten to fifteen minutes.

    Roll the dough into a round roti using a little wheat flour.

    Heat a tawa over moderate flame and place roti over it.

    When small bubbles start forming turn it over, and cook it from the other side.

    Press the edges with spatula so that edges are also cooked well.

    Cook it evenly from both sides and serve immediately.
